The MarketPlace at the Parade 

The Crystal Coast Veterans Day Parade has now expanded!  We are now hosting “MarketPlace at the Parade” in downtown Morehead City, in Martin Luther King Park* (behind the Old Train Depot) from 9:30 am to 3 pm on November 7, 2026 before, during, and after the Parade.

The MarketPlace is a place for food, fun, music, mingling, and shopping. Mingle with other Veterans and Military/Local/and State VIPS. Have breakfast and lunch at our food trucks, Dank Burrito and Two Crazy Donuts. Enjoy music from our DJ from 9:30 -11 am. Shop at our Booths featuring local crafts and baked goods. Meet and chat with local Military groups at the Booths, including VFW groups, the American Legion, the Dept of Veteran Affairs, and many more.

 And the Depot/MarketPlace will be the site for the powerful and moving conclusion to the Parade -- a Special Musical Tribute to Veterans, Active Duty Military, Fire/Rescue, and LEOs  --   featuring the National Anthem, Amazing Grace on bagpipes, TAPS, and other patriotic music.

Also, don’t miss the exciting Off-Site part of the MarketPlace – a 47’ Coast Guard Rescue Vessel docked at the Sanitary Restaurant and available for tour!! The US Coast Guard has generously agreed to let the Public tour this Vessel from 10am – 4pm on Saturday, November 6th, and from 1pm - 5pm on Saturday, November 7th.

*Martin Luther King Park is just behind Parade Central (the Train Depot) between Evans, Arendell, 10th, and 11th Streets.)
